Missing You
Inspired by Carrie Underwood's "This is Just a Dream"

Time growing older waiting for her there
Missing that tender love and care
She flew with the Wonderbolts into the night
Telling me not to fright
"I'll return home" she said to me
I nodded, but cried in my sleep

Days later I received a call
I picked it up and then let it fall
Rainbow my love was on the other end
With exciting news to send
A marriage in a few days with a royal ball
I couldn't believe this at all
I told her I loved her and would be waiting there
To see my love and feel that tender care
She hung up the phone saying good bye
I wanted to cry and cry all night

I went to tell the others, but they already knew
Rarity the designer was planning something new
I couldn't believe this day was coming at last
I wished for this day to come in the past

The moment was set and waited with glee
All our friends here, a site to see
I saw my love as I streamed down the aisle
She looked at me and gave me a smile
We went to hold hands and not a moment too soon
Our moment was perfect and so was my groom

The moment faded turning to grey
I realized that this wasn't that day
I waited down the aisle and looked to see
My love being carried right past me
In a basket she looked so ill
As they began to read off her will

My love was flying when she soon crashed
Giving it her all in one last dash
The day in white turned to black
As I realized I wanted my Rainbow back
Our final day soon became departed
When I wished for the day it all started
I cried over her basket in one final fair well
Watching my love as she fell

"Good bye my love,"
I had the courage to say
The sky no longer becoming grey
A rainbow flew in a flash
My dear love
My dear friend
Remember
Rainbow Dash
Another poem. ^_^
